The uncertainty of mining operations requires that the proposed mine plan is analyzed using simulation models that mimics the mining operation and predicts the best option for any complex scenario. Our team of consultants solve our clients’ problems by building discrete-event simulation models for large-scale mining operations such as truck-shovel allocation, productivity, dispatching, production schedule, plant processing and maintenance.

The simulation model considers uncertain variables such as mining capacity, crusher availability and downtime, and storage and blending requirements. Commercial software packages used for simulation research include Excel, Arena and Simulink.
